2 Corinthians 4:7-8 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. Therefore honor God with your body. 難道你們不知道，你們的身體就是聖靈的聖所嗎？這聖靈住在你們裡面，是你們從神領受的。你們不屬於自己， 因為你們是被重價贖回來的。所以，你們應當用自己的身體榮耀神。 O hindi ba ninyo alam na ang inyong katawan ay templo ng Banal na Espiritu na taglay ninyo mula sa Diyos? At hindi ninyo pag-aari ang inyong sarili, sapagkat mahal ang pagkabili sa inyo. Kaya't luwalhatiin ninyo ang Diyos sa pamamagitan ng inyong katawan.

1 Corinthians 1:18 “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” 原來，十字架的福音對那些正在滅亡的人來說，是愚拙的；但是對我們這些正在被拯救的人來說，卻是神的大能。 Sapagkat ang mensahe ng krus ay kahangalan sa mga napapahamak, ngunit para sa ating mga naliligtas, ito ay kapangyarihan ng Diyos.

Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. 一個僕人不能服事兩個主人。他不是厭惡這個、喜愛那個，就是忠於這個、輕視那個。你們不能既服事神，又服事財富。 Walang lingkod na makakapaglingkod sa dalawang panginoon sapagkat kapopootan niya ang isa at iibigin ang isa o kaya magtatapat siya sa isa at mamumuhi sa isa. Hindi kayo makakapaglingkod sa Diyos at sa kayamanan.
