Mark 10:43-45

"Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

你 們 中 間 ， 誰 願 為 大 ， 就 必 作 你 們 的 用 人 ； 在 你 們 中 間 ， 誰 願 為 首 ， 就 必 作 眾 人 的 僕 人 。 因 為 人 子 來 ， 並 不 是 要 受 人 的 服 事 ， 乃 是 要 服 事 人 ， 並 且 要 捨 命 作 多 人 的 贖 價 。

Ang sinuman sa inyo na nais maging dakila ay dapat maging lingkod ninyo,  at ang sinumang nais maging pinuno ay dapat maging alipin ng lahat. Sapagkat ang Anak ng Tao ay naparito hindi upang paglingkuran kundi upang maglingkod at upang mag-alay ng kanyang buhay para sa ikatutubos ng marami.

Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.  It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Luke 17:33

Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.

凡想要保全自己生命的，將失去生命；凡失去自己生命的，將保存生命。

Ang sinumang magsikap na iligtas ang kanyang buhay ay mawawalan nito; ngunit ang sinumang mawalan ng kanyang buhay ay siyang makapagliligtas nito.
