1 Thessalonians 5:8

But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

但我們既然屬於白晝，就讓我們謹慎，以信與愛做為護胸甲穿上，以救恩的盼望做為頭盔戴上。

Ngunit dahil tayo'y sa panig ng araw, dapat maging matino ang ating pag-iisip. Isuot natin ang baluti ng pananampalataya at pag-ibig, at isuot ang helmet ng pag-asa sa pagliligtas na gagawin sa atin ng Diyos.

Luke 24:49

I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.

看哪！我要將我父所應許的差派到你們那裡。不過你們要留在城裡，直到領受了從上面來的能力。

Tandaan ninyo, isusugo ko sa inyo ang ipinangako ng aking Ama, kaya't huwag kayong aalis sa Jerusalem hangga't hindi kayo napagkakalooban ng kapangyarihang mula sa langit.”

Luke 21:17-19

All men will hate you because of me. But not a hair of your head will perish. By standing firm you will gain life.

為了我的名，你們將被所有的人憎恨， 18 可是你們連一根頭髮也絕不會失去。19 你們當在你們的忍耐中獲得自己的生命。

Kapopootan kayo ng lahat dahil sa akin, 18 ngunit hindi kayo malalagasan kahit isang hibla ng buhok. 19 Sa inyong pagtitiis ay maililigtas ninyo ang inyong buhay.”

Luke 12:29-31

“²⁹And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.

³⁰For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them.

³¹But seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.”
